Are you interested in becoming a participating market that offers Double Up? There are some eligibility requirements you must confirm first. - Your store/market must be able to accept SNAP benefits (minimum one season of experience is preferred) with a SNAP Permit number from USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and have a point-of-sale device and SNAP currency in their possession.
- Your store/market must demonstrate sufficient organizational capacity to handle associated accounting and reporting for the DUFB program.
- Your store/market must have a designated market manager or staff person responsible for Double Up implementation.
- Farmers Markets must have written support to participate in the program from the fiduciary organization (if different from the market organization).
Our summer application season is currently closed but we are accepting requests for information. By filling this out we can confirm your preliminary eligibility and send you a full application when the season opens again.
